Torah Lishmah: Learning For Its Own Sake

In Judaism, learning is a pursuit that lasts a lifetime. Temple Emanuel Sinai has an active group of members who plan and coordinate ongoing offerings for our congregation and wider community. By collaborating with our Temple Brotherhood, the Worcester Jewish Community Center, other congregations and regional organizations, we are able to sponsor an even wider variety of programs. With so many interesting opportunities you will never hear someone from Temple Emanuel Sinai mention boredom!

TES Affinity Groups

Enhance an area of interest by joining a TES Affinity Group.

Affinity groups are groups of individuals who share interests or hobbies who gather together to dig deeper into a shared interest of its group members. TES Mahjong Mavens is our best example in which Temple members meet weekly to play. Last fall several of us were novices and were mentored to become skilled players. We would like to expand this idea into other areas that are listed below.
