Family and Friends Club (Brotherhood/Sisterhood)
The purpose of the Family and Friends Club (F&FC) is to cooperate with Temple Emanuel Sinai and the other Temple organizations in stimulating Jewish religious activities; fostering cultural and educational advancement; promoting, through social intercourse, the spirit of comradeship and support within our congregation; and to advance the work in the larger field by maintaining some level of affiliation with the National Men of Reform Judaism and Women of Reform Judaism.
Our mission is to engage in projects and activities that will provide meaningful services to our congregation and allow our members to find greater identity, involvement and inspiration.
Family and Friends Club (F&FC) has been a pillar of service to our synagogue community, as well as the Greater Worcester Jewish and non-Jewish Community, since 1927. We enter this New Year celebrating our history of successful fund-raising, significant scholarship awards, and sponsorship of educational, religious, social, and cultural events benefitting our broad constituency

Temple Emanuel Sinai Family and Friends Club (F&FC) Scholarships
For the past sixty years TES Family and Friends Club (formerly Brotherhood), through its Scholarship Committee, has proudly distributed more than $750,000 to over 800 students and campers! The Family and Friends Club (F&FC)’s scholarship fund is made up of 26 closely monitored individual trusts with conservative investment portfolios. The original purpose of the fund was to help students with their first year of college tuition. The Scholarship Committee has since evolved and proudly provides financial assistance for: Religious School scholarships for TES families, Jewish summer camp scholarships for TES families, Kallah and retreat program support, Judaic-related study, and youth trips to Israel. We are pleased to be able to once again provide camp and first-year college scholarships to college-bound students whose families are members in good standing at Temple Emanuel Sinai. Applications for first-year college scholarships are available through the office starting in January and are due on May 1st.
