Temple Emanuel Sinai community members enjoy opportunities to get together in groups around common interests. You don’t need to be an expert in anything to join us!

Mahjong Affinity Group 

We meet weekly at TES, generally on Sunday mornings, to play mahjong. Experienced and newer players are welcome to join.

Hiking Affinity Group

We meet on Wednesday mornings to hike together. The hikes vary in length and difficulty, but are generally between 1.5 – 2.5 miles and take about 1.5 hours. The hiking locations are typically in Worcester or in contiguous towns.

Cooking Affinity Group

We meet 4-6 times a year on Shabbat afternoons focusing on holiday and Shabbat foods. New recipes and ideas are always welcome.

Film Affinity Group

The group meets once a month to discuss Jewish-themed films. Some months we view films together in public, then discuss them immediately afterwards. Other months we watch films on our own and discuss them at a later date via zoom. Anyone is welcome.

Family and Friends Club (Brotherhood/Sisterhood)
Our mission is to engage in projects and activities that will provide meaningful services to our congregation and allow our members to find greater identity, involvement and inspiration.

Nosh and Schmooze
A monthly lunch outing. See old friends; meet new friends. Second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 pm. Location will vary from month to month.
